The Arthur S Aubry Archive preserves, organizes and promotes the artistic legacy of Arthur S Aubry, an industrial and landscape photographer, and member of the Pacific Northwest visual arts community from the 1980s until his death in 2015. In his lifetime, Aubry concentrated primarily on making his artwork rather than selling it, preferring instead to support his fine art efforts with income from day jobs and commercial photography. As result, only a modest number of his artworks were obtained by public, corporate and private collections. The Archive intends to raise his profile through publication/exhibition/licensing, and to ensure an understanding and appreciation of his unique contribution to the region's visual arts vocabulary.
