Inspiring conversations to build community and cultivate art. The Bemis Art Committee (BAC) promotes the Bemis Building as the premier community in Seattle for artists to live, work, and exhibit their art by producing unique and highly publicized art shows, building a supportive community of residents/affiliate artists and organizations, and engaging with our neighbors to grow artistic culture throughout SODO. We believe we are what we create and we want our work to be continually built upon for years to come. Therefore, we are establishing programs with the next and other organizers in mind. It is our aspiration that Bemis will not only serve as a place for growing our community, but also, a place where others may find inspiration for personal growth. We choose to promote our community of artists by cultivating culture within our local community of SODO. In our experience, we achieve far more together than is possible alone.
