Venus & The Vixens: Games of Love is an audacious new theatrical work conceived, written and directed by Martha Enson, with music by Sari Breznau, libretto by Martha Enson, Sari Breznau and Caela Bailey and presented by EnJoy Productions. It will have its world premiere at Emerald City Trapeze arts in SODO (Seattle), in June of 2024.

Venus & The Vixens: Games of Love is an interactive rock musical, an immersive theatrical experience, and a joyous antidote to post-pandemic isolation and technology overload. This 21+ event will feature incredible food and drink, an all-female rock band (The Vixens), Broadway-worthy songs, the epic mythic love story of Cupid & Psyche, (optional) interactive games and show participation, and remarkable food and drink provided by Vashon Island's iconic The Ruby Brink restaurant and Bar. Grab a bit and a drink, play some games, and lose yourself in the electro pop sounds of a heart-pumping all-female disco-rock band. It’s a fresh take on a God + Mortal love love story, filled with games of chance, aerial flourishes, physical challenges, and playful surprises. Come out, connect with others: play, risk, win, lose, play! As Venus says, you can't win if you don't play.

EnJoy Productions, founded by Martha Enson and Kevin Joyce (co-founders of UMO Ensemble, long-time cast and producers with Teatro Zinzanni) return to their theatrical roots with this show. It's a venture whose ticket revenue will only cover 35% of the costs to produce the show. After 20 years of supporting over 100 nonprofits in the region and hiring scores of local artists at a living wage, EnJoy is asking for YOUR support to make this production possible. This show represents our deepest mission: to deliver extraordinary experiences that lift the human spirit and bring communities together. We plan for it to be a wild success and contribute in an important way to the post-pandemic revitalization of Seattle and the vitality of the live performing arts. We can't do it without your help! Please give generously. Thank you!
